Xenite COOL SITE
What makes a Xenite Cool Site? You do, really. It just needs to be something unique, different, and honest. And you cannot tell us about it. No, no, no, no, that won't do at all. We receive enough email as it is.
We like discovering these sites on our own, by random chance, completely by accident. It's much more fun that way.
So, yeah, probably the fastest way to put yourself OUT of the running is to ask us to profile your site. That ain't gonna happen.
Xenite.Org has earned recognition from many other sites through the years. The awards and accolades which meant the most to us were the ones which took us by surprise.
And since we want to share the joy of discovery with our visitors, we have decided NOT to mention these profiles to the Web site owners. They may never know we said good things about them.
That's the way it should be.

The Good Eats Fan Page - Selected July 15, 2007
|
What does the Food Network have to do with science fiction? Well, ask the Iron Chef fans about that. Truth is, food and science fiction go together like peanut and whipped chocolate.
Okay, maybe not everyone can cook, but Alton Brown can cook great and he'll satisfy any SF geek's craving for more knowledge with every episode. But fans keep asking questions.
So did we, until we found the Good Eats Fan Page. Loaded with news items, interviews, and other cool information, our craving for more Alton was satiated.
Good Eats tells you about the science behind cooking. The Good Eats Fan Page tells you everything else.

The Rebels of Mars - Selected May 14, 2007
|
If you have spent any time browsing Xenite.Org, then you know we are big fans of Edgar Rice Burroughs, especially of his John Carter of Mars novels.
So imagine our pleasant surprise when we stumbled across a blog that talks about all things Barsoomian. Edgar Rice Burroughs fans are legion, but many of his fan sites are more concerned with Tarzan than Barsoom.
The idea that Pixar may make a Barsoom movie has whetted our appetites for more content about John Carter. 'Rebels of Mars' offers a seemingly endless set of posts about actresses who could play princess Dejah Thoris as well as other cool stuff.
If you haven't fallen in love with Barsoom yet, you will.
