LOTR scriptwriter directing play in New Zealand - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
August 02, 2000 at 00:34:13In an article recapping John Forde's On Location interview with Sean Astin for E! Online's Force of Hobbit, The Evening Post has mentioned that Stephen Sinclair has co-written and is directing a play in New Zealand.
Called "Blowing It" at Bats Theatre, the play opened on Monday, July 31, and Sinclair invited Sir Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, and Bernard Hill to attend. Sinclair is one of the scriptwriters for Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings".
