Lothlorien's songs are haunting, enchanted, and perhaps exactly the kind of music Tolkien would have loved in a Celtic environment. "She moved through the fair" is slow and melodic, and draws the listener into a world of romance with subtlety and that ethereal quality that well-done Celtic music aspires to achieve.
The group has been profiled by The New Zealand Herald Online. Radio stations in the United States have contacted the band to ask permission to play their songs, and they have been approached by film-makers who want to use their songs in soundtracks for short films.
Many Tolkien fans will undoubtedly fall in love with "Lothlorien" all over again. You can almost see the mallorns dancing slowly in the timeless breeze....
