More info on New Zealand group 'Lothlorien' - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

The Celtic group 'Lothlorien' also have a pop side which will appeal to a larger, international audience. Nicole Leonard and Chris Lloyd started out as a group called 'Road to Amber' and they have provided some of their songs on MP3.Com.

The group has an official Web site which provides a little background information on Chris Lloyd, a guitar instructor in the Auckland area.

MP3.Com's Road to Amber page offers three downloads: "One of these Days", a pop song written by Nicole, "You're Gone", another song by Nicole, and an instrumental version of "One of the These Days".

The description for "One of These Days" reads: Folk/pop featuring ethereal female vocals, pop, folk and world music influences, layered vocal harmonies. The song has a sort of soft Heart-like quality.

Lothlorien is composed of Chris Lloyd, Nicole Leonard, and Tamzin Wood.
