54,892 searches for Howard Stern were performed during the month. Only 4,585 searches were made on "The Lord of the Rings", a drop from 5,935 searches in June, when the Tolkien title ranked 11th.
Other searches ahead of LOTR included "Britney Spears", "Brad Pitt", "Jennifer Aniston", "Mel Gibson", "Hugh Jackman", and "Jules Asner".
