August 07, 2000 at 14:28:41The Hutt Hobbit's latest spy report for TheOneRing.Net confirms beyond all shadow of a doubt that the Wingate set is indeed Isengard.
He saw Gandalf, the Rohirrim, and at least one hobbit addressing a camera on the steps of Orthanc. Clearly this is a reenactment of the dramatic scene where Gandalf casts Saruman out of the Order of the Istari.
Undoubtedly filming will continue at Wingate this week.
