Company of the Ring has video footage available now - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
August 07, 2000 at 14:32:33We previously reported that The Company of the Ring would be uploading footage of the television show 'The Money Game'. Beren tells us the footage is now available.
Three contestants were selected and each given 5,000 New Zealand dollars they were told to increase in whatever (legal) means possible. One contestant elected to auction off a copy of The Lord of the Rings which had been autographed by six members of the cast from Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" movies.
The book reportedly sold for about $7800.00 (New Zealand).
