We found out about their interest in Tolkien and Jackson by reading their Dragoncon report, which is one of the most extensive, thorough reviews of North America's largest fan-run convention. And they devoted a section of the report to the Tolkien and Middle-earth Track.
This review of track-related news and revelations (mostly reported here and on other Web sites) is only the latest in a series of articles providing thoughtful and sometimes provoking discussions of Peter Jackson's three-film project, what it means to Tolkien fandom around the world, and how it fits into the commercial history of Tolkien-related dramatic productions.
You probably won't see a flood of daily news updates at Zealot concerning the movies. They seem to leave that to the dedicated sites. But they do provide a good starting place for people who are just finding the Web and the online world of Tolkien fandom.
