Liv Tyler to go 'Ape' in Australia? - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

That seems to be the rumor circulating at Dark Horizons.

How in the world they'll going to get the Elven beauty who has captured Tolkien fandom with her curvaceous ears is another story. Liv has been cast as Arwen in Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings".

A spy report from someone who claims to have talked to people on the set of "Queen of the Damned" (which, ironically, will now star Stuart Townsend as the vampie Lestat) says they deny Liv's involvement with the film. So it's been suggested she is connected with the star-packed "Planet of the Apes" remake.

The "Planet of the Apes" connection is just a rumor at this stage. Both movies are being filmed in Australia, along with George Lucas' "Star Wars: Episode II, the unnamed movie", which has picked up Marton Csokas and Christopher Lee, two other LOTR movie actors.
