Elemental Films updates Ancanar.Com, invites fan input - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

New pictures and information have been posted to Ancanar.Com, the official Web site for Elemental Films' Tolkien-inspired fantasy action/adventure movie.

Pictures accompany the location scouting report, fan questions are answered, writer/director Sam R. Balcomb gives a first view of the casting process, and finalists have been selected for a fan art contest focusing on Minas Tirith.

"Ancanar" is set in a Beleriand-like land where a young man seeks out a hidden city of the Elves after his people have been devastated in a terrible war. The movie begins filming in early September and the shoot should last 3-4 weeks. Special effects will be used.
