The young webmaster was not threatened or intimidated by the guards, and after they realized he was a true fan, the story says, young Grindlay was escorted onto the set for an opportunity to meet several of the actors, including Sir Ian Mckellen (Gandalf), Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), and Craig Parker (Haldir of Lorien).
Grindley's mother, Colleen, disputed recent reports of veiled threats from the guards on the location and alleged that in fact they had been very polite during the encounter another resident had reported to The Evening Post.
Haldir's presence on the location implies that either some of the Lorien footage is being filmed at Moonshine Bridge or else Haldir's role has been revised. There has been no previous indication of a revision/expansion of Haldir's role, but there is a scene in the literary story where Haldir is briefly reunited with the Fellowship of the Ring before they set out on the journey down the Anduin.
