The letter contains dire mystical warnings for the producers of "The Lord of the Rings" against "falsely" telling the tale of Isildur's Bane (the One Ring).
We're just excited to know that someone else has observed that the producers of "Dark Knight" are playing fast and loose with the Ivanhoe story. We were concerned that fans might have been frightened away by the realistic Elves and Goblins. The CGI effects for "Dark Knight", costing $20,000,000 (New Zealand), have been compared to the as-yet unseen "Lord of the Rings" movies CGI effects. Presumably, this means that the Elves look like Elves (no pointed ears?) and the Goblins look like Goblins (now, are they green? If so, there is a Spiderman movie in the works....)
