Howard Shore confirmed as LOTR movies composer - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
August 15, 2000 at 12:25:52It's official. Howard Shore will be doing the soundtracks for the three 'Lord of the Rings' movies Peter Jackson is producing in New Zealand.
Shore did the score for "The Cell", the new science fiction/thriller starring Jennifer Lopez set to show in theaters very soon. Tolkien fans who want to hear a fresh example of his work will probably check out the movie.
Other movies Shore has composed for include "Silence of the Lambs", "Philadelphia", and "The Fly".
