Scoop New Zealand casts doubt on licensing show pictures - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

Suggesting the photographs may be touch-up jobs, Scoop is asking, "Are these for real?", referring to the two licensing show pictures recently released by Dark Horizons (while attributing the photos to TheOneRing.Net).

Several Web sites in addition to TheOneRing.Net have carried the pictures, and if there is any indication of a difference between TORN's images and other images it may be that TORN is showing wider, more complete shots than Dark Horizons. But is there reason to suggest the pictures have been touched up?

The pictures show the Company of the Ring trekking across the countryside (and apparently led by Gandalf, so everyone is assuming this is from a scene early in the story, probably between Rivendell and Moria) and a hobbit with a lantern facing what appears to be a Nazgul on a horse in a darkened lane at night (possibly Farmer Maggot).

Anyway, what's the scoop on the question, Scoop?
