Information Week is reporting that 1800 customers of Cisco Systems (the people who make Internet routers, the things which help computers connect to each other and so become the Internet) got to see a digitally broadcast sneak preview of "Titan A.E." in Atlanta, GA.

Now, a 42-gigabyte file coming across the Internet just seems...mind-boggling. But the next time you're wondering what New Line Cinema is going to do to top their 1.7 million download record for the Internet preview of Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings", stop and consider the possibility of their arranging a special sneak preview with Cisco systems for a lucky 2000 or so fans the week before "The Fellowship of the Rings" opens.

Hey, it's an idea. Now all we need is for someone to come up with a plan and to implement it....
