We not only have pictures for you, we have a special deal. Just call 0207-494-5522 to book tickets for the play and you'll get a free Hobbit T-shirt (no connection with Xenite.Org, btw).

These pictures are taken from Vanessa Ford Productions' "The Hobbit", which will be premiering at the Queen's Theatre in London's West End on December 12, following a successful national tour. The play was adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit by Glyn Robbins and is directed by Roy Marsden.
Many thanks to John Badenhorst of Borkowski PR for the pictures. They have promised to post press releases and reviews on their Web site.
Gandalf looks fantastic, and we only regret we cannot show you the full size picture (we had to cut all of them down to 1-quarter size and reduce the color depth to get them to display properly in our browsers).
Bilbo Baggins is about to make history as he crawls along the darkened tunnels of the Goblin Town in the high Misty Mountains. What's this? A ring? One small fumble for a hobbit, one great debacle for a dark lord in the making, and the doom of a mighty dragon is set into motion.

Bilbo Baggins and the hideous Gollum trade riddles and threats in the dark deep beneath the Misty Mountains of Middle-earth in Vanessa Ford Productions' adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit", 2000. Gollum was just minding his own business, possibly hoping for a new meal, when along came a Hobbit. A Hobbit? That brings back old memories. But what has it gots in its pockets, our Precious? Yes, indeed!

The bickering Dwarves are in for a rude surprise after Bilbo awakens the dragon. They still have to figure out how to claim their long-lost treasure, and how to defend it from all the scavengers sure to come if and when Smaug is destroyed. Burglary is not the most profitable line of trade.

Dancers perform in Vanessa Ford Productions' adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Hobbit', 2000. The time for war is past, or not yet come. Are these Elves celebrating the end of the dragon and the restoration of peace, or warriors of Lake-town preparing to meet the dragon in battle? An image of Smaug looms menacingly in the background.

Gandalf ponders the deeper mysteries. Is he wondering what sort of magical ring Bilbo Baggins has found, or just trying to figure out what his next adventure will be? Greater tasks lie ahead for Middle-earth's most renowned wizard....
