Joram Manka at Ringbearer tells us that you can now listen to the BBC radio adaptation of The Hobbit on your PC.

The Hobbit has been adapted to film, television, stage, and radio many times through the years and fans just can't seem to get enough of it.

Live365.Com is an Internet Radio service which boasts more than 12,000 content channels. You need to have RealPlayer, some MP3 player (like MusicMatch, Sonique, Yahoo! Player, or Winamp), or Windows Media Player in order to listen to the channels through your PC headphones and/or speakers. They provide links to download the software but you have to supply your own hardware.

Xenite.Org has set up several music channels through an alternate service. At least some of the Internet Radio services will let you create (and promote) your own custom programming channels.
