Lord of the Rings collectibles now for sale

October 05, 2001 at 04:40:37

Xenite.Org has been invited to participate in a LoTR-merchandising affiliate program. You can purchase Secret Boxes, Waterglobes, Ornaments, or a Picture Frame and Lighted House.

Licensed by Tolkien Enterprises and New Line Productions, these gift collectibles from Quinstreet enlarge the world of Tolkien movie merchandising by providing items of higher value with a broad appeal. Even the most ardent anti-Tolkienists will agree that the Lord of the Rings collection will be worth cherishing for years to come.

Okay, enough hype. These are very nice pieces, and we've grabbed a few images here that give you a glimpse of what you'll find if you click on the links. Xenite.Org gets a modest commission (hey, it pays the Web-hosting fees, if nothing else) if you should purchase any of these items through our links. There are larger versions of these images (and many more images, besides) available at the merchant site. Just click on any ZOOM link to see the bigger image.

It is our understanding that these items are available for presale (that is, you can order them now, but shipment will be delayed) through November. We have no further information at this time on delivery or ship dates. We have also been told that the collection will be expanded in the future (more Arwen, guys!).

If you just want to look around the full collection, you can click here to see the Lord of the Rings collection. Otherwise, we've provided a list of currently available merchandise below.

Purchase Secret Boxes based on Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings from GiftGiving.Com
There are six secret boxes to collect:

Which one will be the most popular? We like Arwen!

Purchase Lord of the Rings ornaments from GiftGiving.Com
The collection offers 11 resin-and-brown-glass ornaments to choose from:

Our bet is that Rivendell becomes the most popular. Don't let us down (but, hey, there's an Arwen ornament, too!).

Purchase a picture frame and lighted house based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings from Giftgiving.com
If you have a favorite picture that would look good when framed by Holly Trees, then you'll want to consider getting the Mines of Moria entrance picture frame. Otherwise, keep a light on in the window of Bag End for your favorite Hobbits.

Purchase Lord of the Rings waterglobes from Giftgiving.com
Five waterglobes are offered:
