New Zealand Press Online Web site is gone - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings
June 26, 2000 at 14:11:00Those of you who like to surf the Web in search of Tolkien movie news on your own will want to update your bookmarks and favorites folders. The Press Web site has gone down.
But all is not lost! They have been replaced by Stuff, which claims to bigger, better, etc.
The new Web site has a much slicker, more commercial feel to it but unlike many professional media sites doesn't seem to forget that most surfers aren't using cable modems, DSL, and T1 connections. We have found the new site design is fast to download, unlike some other news sources we have to check every day.
