Listen to Tolkien and Middle-earth Track at Dragoncon - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

The good folks at Tolkien Online have been posting audio files from the Tolkien and Middle-earth track on web site as arranged and authorized by Michael Martinez, the director of the programming track.

Some of the sessions in the track cannot be posted on the web due to the requests of the presenters, and we apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding which may have arisen because of the apparent incompleteness of the session offerings.

Two of the major Tolkien movie news sites, TheOneRing.Net and Tolkien Online have been helping with the first ever Tolkien and Middle-earth fan programming track at Dragoncon, North America's largest fan-run science fiction convention.

Several of the sessions were standing-room only on Thursday and Friday, and the convention's heaviest traffic will not be realized until Saturday and Sunday, July 1 and 2. More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the annual event, held in Atlanta, GA, this weekend. Brad Dourif (Grima Wormtongue) and Karl Urban (Eomer) are featured guests at the convention who have both spoken at the Tolkien fan track already and who have several more sessions left this weekend.

Dourif and Urban are under contract to appear in Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings".
