July 19, 2000 at 12:09:19

The Company of the Ring is reporting that the production staff are back at work, getting ready for resumption of filming on the movies next Monday (July 24).

Cast and crew from Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" were given a three-week hiatus for the winter at the beginning of July. Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, and Barrie Osborne elected to attend the Queenstown Winter Festival, where they are guests of honor at the Hollywood Ball. Other members of the cast left New Zealand to attend to other projects or take some personal time.

The Ents have remained in the trees.

No references were made to Harry Potter in the production of this report.
