500 secret photographs seized from former LOTR movie security guard - Lord of the Rings news - J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings

The Evening Post is reporting that Brian McLennan, a former security guard on Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" films, took 500 photographs of sets, cast, and crew in violation of his confidentiality agreement.

Stuff is carrying the article, which claims that police seized the photographs as soon as Three Foot Six productions won a civil action against the former employee.

McLennan will also soon face criminal theft charges in an investigation apparently unrelated to the LOTR-gate theft ring in which three men were arrested and charged with theft of videos and props and money laundering.

The announcement of the photograph collection comes on the heels of a spy report at Dark Horizons, where a fan reportedly had just seen a large collection of photographs in five books and was claiming to have inside information about the movies. Are the two photograph collections the same, or is there another collecton out there?
