Elemental Films, the small American film company which produced a Tolkien-inspired independent fantasy film, has announced a distribution plan for its first official teaser trailer.

We have just received the following press release from Curugon at Elemental Films.

- TRAILER COMING TO IFILM -

At last! After months of waiting, the Ancanar Teaser Trailer has finally found a home at IFILM (http://www.ifilm.com), the web’s leading source for popular media. The trailer will appear online this FRIDAY MAY 2ND, available in Quicktime, RealPlayer, and Window Media formats, free to view for all.

The trailer premiered on Ancanar.com in January, only to be flooded with millions of hits, crashing the site (it was only up for three days). We're very pleased to announce that the trailer is finally re-appearing online.

- POSTER CONTEST -

Today we are giving everyone the chance to choose which Ancanar poster will become available to buy. Four designs have been displayed online (www.ancanar.com/poster), and anyone selecting their favorite will be automatically entered to win that poster.

The design that receives the most votes will be sold in a limited run on Ancanar.com. You can vote as many times as you like, but you can only be entered into the contest once. The poster and winner will be announced on Friday, May 9th.

"Ancanar" stars Gregory Lee Kenyon as a Ancanar, a young man who sets out to find a hidden city of the Elves after his people have been destroyed in a war. The story is inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, especially The Silmarillion. Sam R. Balcomb is the writer/producer for the project, crafted by Elemental Films.

Raiya Corsiglia plays Laliel, Gordon Capps is Raugil, Jamie Alexander is Curugon, Kevin McGrath is Aglanar, Ralph Lister is Finlome, Serge Lartelier is Carandil, and Carolyn Palmer is Maerim. A full cast listing is available on the movie's official Web site.
