One of the Internet's oldest and most respected Tolkien-related mailing lists, Xenite.Org's Middle-earth Mailing List provides a convenient way for people to stay abreast of the latest fan discussions without having to browse the Web or sift through news groups.

The form requires you to enter a name and valid email address. A subscription request is then submitted to our list-server and you must confirm the request by replying to an email that will be sent to you.

While we recognize the minor inconvenience of this multi-step process, it is our desire to keep the email addresses off the Web, since spammers now regularly steal addresses from Web sites. Also, we want to be sure that people are not added to our mailing list without their own knowledge. So, the form and confirmation process are necessary.
