Kevin Sorbo first rose to prominence as Hercules in five made-for-television movies filmed in New Zealand by Pacific Renaissance Pictures. Following upon the success of the movies Kevin starred in the internationally syndicated show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

After starring as Hercules for six years, Kevin Sorbo returned to his home in North America and launched a new television series called Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. After four seasons, Andromeda ceased production and fans are awaiting Kevin Sorbo's next project.
