The Andre Norton Forum
Andre Norton was for many decades among the first authors young science fiction fans discovered in their first months of eye-opening adventure. Her writing career spanned more than 7 decades and included all genres associated with action/adventure, including pulp novels, fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, and westerns.
Beloved by many authors in the SF community, Andre helped nurture many careers, especially among women writers. As one of the very first women to be published regularly in science fiction and fantasy, Andre helped open doors for the generations that followed her. She passed away on March 18, 2005.
