The Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors Forum

Science fiction and fantasy. For years Hollywood has inundated us with images of spaceships, ray-guns, bug-eyed monsters, and scantily clad women being slung over the shoulders of brawny barbarians. But science fiction and fantasy literature has shown us the stereotypes have little to do with their supposed inspirations.
Classic masters of science fiction and fantasy like Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, and Marion Zimmer Bradley forged the way forward for new generations of authors like Christopher Stasheff, Anne McCaffrey, Tracy Hickman & Margaret Weisman, T.S. Eliott -- okay, just kidding on Elliott. There are hundreds of great, good, and just plain interesting authors like Jane Yolan, Mercedes Lackey, John Jakes, Gardner Fox, A. E. Van Vogt -- well, you see what we mean. We had to pick four for the picture on this page, but all the SF authors and masters are welcome topics of discussion in our science fiction and fantasy authors forum.
