History and Mythology Forums

History and mythology are closely tied to science fiction and fantasy because they have played very strong roles in influencing story and character development for both genres. Many science fiction and fantasy authors often suggest that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Xenite.Org has fostered an interest in history and mythology for both personal and professional reasons. Many members of our staff and community have a deep love for and interest in learning about our past. Even the study of mythology is an intrinsically valuable pursuit.

Some members of our forum community are professors, students of history and archaeology, or lay scholars who have devoted many years of study to learning about and sharing information in numerous historical and prehistorical topics.

We encourage you to browse our forums and visit the many Web sites we link to. Although we cannot vouch for every source of information, we do strive to present balanced information and respect all points of view. It is our hope you find these forums to be beneficial.
