This is a fannish term defined by the first members of the MCA Hercules NetForum. It was applied to the first 100 people to post to the forum. At least, that was how it was explained to me.
Just to complicate matters further, the Usenet news groups were started by Originals who abandoned the Netfora. But in this case, by "Original" I'm referring to people who saw the first movie and watched all the way through. I somehow think there are very few of these folks. Of those who are online, there probably are not more than a few dozen (but that's just my best guess).
This is a fannish term referring to someone who is a fan of the show HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS. The "k" stands for "Kevin" (since he is not the only actor to have played Hercules). There is another term, "Sorbonne", which refers to fans of Kevin Sorbo.
An alternative term is Sorbonne (plural, Sorbonnes). That sounds a bit too awkward for me, but I think it's catching on with fans.
This is the name for fans of the show XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS. In the early days the alternative name proposed for us was Xenaphile, and this was in fact the term that I preferred, but Xenite won out and I decided not to make an issue out of it.
I don't know who coined the other terms, but Venator, owner and moderator of the Chakram Mailing List tells me he coined "Xenite".
To show my faithfulness to the cause, I used this term when naming my domain, Xenite.org.
