J.R.R. Tolkien

Every kid who reads the books of J.R.R. Tolkien takes away an image of grandeur, power, and adventure. But the whole fascination with the stories almost always centers on the monsters. J.R.R. But perhaps the interest people have in The Lord of the Rings is simply based on the high quality of the story itself. Tolkien's prose can be very compelling. It draws the reader into the story and helps the reader envision the world of Middle-earth.
