Charlotte bid for 2004 Worldcon
January 24, 2001 at 01:43:47In November of 2000 Xenite.Org's founder Michael Martinez promised to create a page supporting the Charlotte bid for WorldCon in 2004.
Unfortunately, several things happened all at once and the page was set aside. Now we've created the page which provides information about the Charlotte bid and links to the bid committee's home page.
The page represents Michael's personal endorsement for the committee, several members of which he knows personally. Irv Koch, a long-time regular of our Andre Norton forum, is one of the co-chairs of the committee.
