The redesign was necessitated by planned changes in the design of Xenite.Org's Web content. Parma Endorion: Essays on Middle-earth, first published in 1996, introduces a new Javascript-based banner rotation script Xenite.Org intends to use in place of our current Perl-based networks. This script and similar tools will be used to promote internal Xenite.Org Web content or for special promotions we agree to provide.

Publication of a third edition of Parma Endorion, prepared and announced in advance last year, was delayed for technical reasons. The third edition will include corrections and some new material, and will be provided as a free eBook in Adobe PDF format.

Parma Endorion: Essays on Middle-earth is a widely recognized authoritative Web book about J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. It has been cited extensively by students around the world from high school through advanced university courses.
