We've added or updated links on our Tolkien Links page (formerly called "Talk About J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle-earth: A Guide to Tolkien Discussion on the Web"), our Edgar Rice Burroughs links page (formerly called "Talk About Edgar Rice Burroughs..."), and our Pokemon links and news page.

Other Web sites we've recently remodelled include Barsoom: The Lost Chronicles of Edgar Rice Burroughs and the old Movie Reviews site (sorry -- still no recent reviews) Dean Kish used to write for us.

By now, all of our Xenite.Org News and Lord of the Rings movie news articles should also be using the new Javascript code.

It is our hope that, as we convert more and more pages to utilize the new Javascript banner rotation code, the load on our server imposed by all the CGI script calls will be reduced. The Javascript banners are handled by a template file that your browser loads. If things work as planned, you'll notice faster load times on Xenite.Org pages. It still takes a few seconds (or up to a minute) for your browser to render our pages, depending on the speed of your computer. We are considering some alternatives to the use of tables in our HTML page design, which slows down rendering for Web pages.
