The first archive to be updated is part of the Andre Norton Message Board archive.

The old archives originally resembled the forums, but we had problems with dead links coming off the messages, and there have been numerous attempts by people to post followup messages. The original forums were shut down on August 1, 2000 and most of their content has been archived on secondary domains. The archives were originally created when Xenite.Org lacked sufficient space and bandwidth to support the frequent browsing from people just discovering our past discussions.

We are currently preparing a new design for Xenite.Org, and eventually we plan to incorporate a more functional archive for all the old messages on Xenite.Org. We do not anticipate making further changes or updates to the off-site archives after that time, but the door will always be open.

Acrives exist for several our other forums, including the Farscape forum (the oldest fan-run forum for Farscape), the White Council (now renamed as the Tolkien and Inklings forum), Andromeda (the first fan-run forum for Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda), The Lost World Message Board (the first fan-run forum for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World), the Xena Online Resources Message Board (now our Renaissance Pictures forum), the H.P. Lovecraft Forum, and the Xenite and Herkulean Webmasters Association forum.
