The changeover may mean that some code will no longer work, although we have not had an opportunity to test the system. The most significant changes for the present time apply to Ringmasters, who have been given greater control over the Webrings.

Xenite.Org manages several Webrings, but we have not scheduled any updates to our Webring homepages at this time. It may be several weeks before we can update the information on our Webring pages.

We apologize for any inconvenience the changeover may lead to for our Webring members and applicants, but the separation of the Webring system from Yahoo! may, in the long run, mean that the problems Yahoo! introduced to the system will be resolved, while their innovations will be retained.
