Forum archives moved to new server

We were notified of imminent changes in the services being offered by Freeservers.com last week. Those changes in service forced us to relocate our forum archives.

SF-Worlds.com, a member of the Xenite.Org network, now resides on our new dedicated server along with SF-FANDOM. We moved two forum archives to SF-WORLDS.COM:

http://www.sf-worlds.com/forums/andromeda/ contains all the messages from the original Andromeda forum hosted by Xenite.Org. Many of the messages were posted by writers from the show using pseudonyms and revealing background information on races and characters.

http://www.sf-worlds.com/forums/lovecraft/ contains all the messages from the original H.P. Lovecraft forum hosted by Xenite.Org.

Other archives have been moved to SF-FANDOM itself, including http://www.sf-fandom.com/xoa/andre_norton/, http://www.sf-fandom.com/xoa/farscape/, and http://www.sf-fandom.com/xoa/white_council/.

The Andre Norton Forum was originally the Witch World Message Board, and it is the Web's oldest dedicated discussion group devoted to Andre Norton, one of the oldest living authors remaining alive today. She currently resides in the state of Tennessee and does not surf the Web, but Ms. Norton has been told about the forum's existence and Xenite.Org was given approval to use her name in conjunction with the forum -- we only promote it as a fan forum, and not as an official or representative site.

The Farscape Forum is the Web's oldest fan-run Farscape discussion group.

The White Council, now known as The Tolkien and Inklings Forum is the Web's oldest discussion group devoted to J.R.R. Tolkien and the Inklings. An older Web forum devoted to C.S. Lewis still exists.

All the former Xenite.Org forums have been inducted into the new SF-FANDOM domain. We have maintained Xenite.Org forwarding pages for the forums to simplify the linking issues raised by moving forums and content from domain to domain. Our Site Map is being updated to reflect changes in location of content.
