Join the Lord of the Rings line party in Houston

Xenite.Org founder Michael Martinez and Tolkien/Inklings forum moderator Bacchus will be partying with fellow fans at the Houston 'Lord of the Rings' line party on December 18.

Line party organizer Thenamir has registered a special sign up page with TheOneRing.Net's line party database.

Fans will be admitted to auditorium 15 of the AMC Gulf Pointe 30 theater at 11:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18. A costume contest will be held and general door prizes awarded. The movie is scheduled to begin precisely at midnight. Prizes include busts of Aragorn and Pippin from Sideshow Toys, AMC tickets, two autographed copies of Visualizing Middle-earth, and other prizes.

Early birds will have the opportunity to eat dinner together at the local Burger King (presumably so fans can clean out the restaurant's inventory of goblets and action figures).
