We thought people might be tired of reading Michael Martinez' essays, so we invited Hardball Jones to share his thoughts on a few choice topics.

Hardball wanted to protect his privacy. He says people don't always appreciate his opinions. And, after reviewing his first essay, we thought it would be best if he started out with a little disclaimer.

Hardball is just one guy telling the world what he thinks. If you want some serious financial advice, you better not be looking for it on the Internet. Nonetheless, maybe you'll agree with some of what he says. Maybe not. You have to admit, though, that hardball doesn't pull any punches (sounds like a mixed metaphor, but it's late).

Still, if you have not yet paid your taxes, and have put them off until the last minute as usual, be warned: Hardball Jones is not your most ardent fan. He's just sharing an opinion. Nothing more. Well, okay. He's being a little insulting, too. We apologize in advance.
