The internal HTML changes are having the desired effect, but a quick conversion for the existing message boards using a template for an unrelated Web site caught our discussion communities by surprise. We received a number of complaints about the temporary format.

Because it's taking longer to develop the new forums than we had originally intended, we'll be restoring the old look of the message boards with a few minor changes for the next 2-3 weeks. However, the underlying HTML changes we wanted to test will be retained. These changes appear to help the pages load faster, and eventually Xenite.Org will convert many if not all of its pages to use similar HTML code.

The look and feel of Xenite.Org may not change that much, but faster page loading should please our visitors.
