Sidetalk shutting down service
August 26, 2000 at 17:19:44Xenite.Org has been promoting the surf-and-chat technology of Sidetalk for a few months now. Earlier this week we were informed that the company had been acquired and the service is being discontinued.
We have accordingly updated most of our Web pages to remove the links to Sidetalk. There may still be a few stray links left which we hope to remove soon.
The official Web site will be shutting down, but Sidetalk sent out an email to all registered users of the service suggesting several alternate services. Xenite.Org is not affiliated with those services and will not be promoting them.
