Overwritten news articles recovered
January 17, 2006 at 23:14:27We lost several files during the last server crash of August 2005. Our news articles were therefore corrupted. The files have been restored.
While we do regret the occasional server crashes and lost archives, we do keep backups of most of our content. Usually, we just run out of time when it comes to restoring lost content from one of the multiple backups.
However, we have now restored the news articles that were lost from the last server crash. A few anomalies may still exist.
This article was actually produced just to ensure that the news posting system now generates content according to our last redesign specification from late 2004/early 2005.
