Although many of us are still hoping that a John Carter of Mars movie will be made, we can now confirm that Angelic Pictures has secured the rights to all five of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Pirates of Venus books.

The first film in the franchise should be released to theaters around the year 2010. In the meantime, Xenite.Org is among the first fan sites to create a dedicated Pirates of Venus fan site.
