Xenite adds science fiction video gallery

December 23, 2008 at 15:27:45 We have been featuring random scifi videos across our network since late November and we have now decided it is time to create a gallery.

We have been keeping an eye out for well-made, underviewed video content on YouTube that is devoted to science fiction and fantasy or more specifically to J.R.R. Tolkien. We've begun promoting videos we feel deserve more attention than they have apparently drawn from random YouTube visitors.

These videos are being prominently featured on the home pages for the five major domains in our network: Xenite.Org, SF-Fandom, SF-Worlds, Tolkien Studies on the Web, and Michael Martinez' personal Web site.

But until now we did not tell anyone we were featuring so many videos at one time. Since we began the selection process in November and we have just completed the selections for December 2008, we felt it was time to let people in on our little secret.

So we're introducing our Science Fiction Videos Gallery. We could have called it a channel but it's really more than one channel. Each domain has its own video archive page. It's like five channels in one!

As with our Xenite Cool Sites program (which has now been retired), we're not telling the video creators that we have featured their content on our network. But if you want to spread the word, feel free to let 'em know we found their work and liked it!

Xenite.Org does not participate in the creation of these videos and claims no rights to their content. We're just fans helping fans. We hope you'll enjoy the SciFi video gallery for a long time to come.
