SF-Fandom Forum Archives Updated and Expanded

March 08, 2009 at 11:32:05 We have redesigned the page layouts for the SF-Fandom forum archives and restored three formerly missing archives.

Through the occasional server crashes and changes we sometimes are unable to upload every section of our large Web sites during the transformation. We have had to take some extraordinary measures on some occasions to recover lost sections.

The SF-Fandom Forum Archives preserve the messages from our earliest message boards, which were originally hosted on Xenite.Org from 1997 to 2000. Some very lengthy, interesting discussions occurred in those days and we feel they are still relevant to fan interests.

For the past few years we've only had three archives available but since the beginning of 2009 we have been able to restore and upload several more.

You can now browse forum archives for:

• The Farscape Message Board

We have one more message board we hope to retrieve from old disk archives for posterity, our old Xena message board.

In rebuilding the forums archive we were also finally able to add links to recreate the discussion chains. So now if you read a message that is a reply to another message, you'll be able to click on a link to go directly to the earlier message rather than have to hunt for it in the archive index.
