Well, if you need any explanation, then let it suffice to say that, yes, they did open the doors to the highly coveted Theater 15 (where the goodies were being given away) a little early. People surged past the doors and the goody table, probably grateful for the chance to get up off that floor they had been sitting on for what seemed like hours.
Yes, the babes of Elf-land were out in force that night. Oh, it's good to be the photographer covering a fan event (at least, when you can remember to turn the flash on and point the camera in the right direction, eh, Michael?). Once the doors to Theater 15 were opened, the line moved so quickly that our brave photographer was able to snap only a few shots before realizing he needed to get inside to grab a good seat, so he quickly ran away....
Actually, this shot was taken as our man-on-the-spot fought his way back past the surging line to look for more Elf-ladies. Smiles are always welcome, though (and the big guy on the left was holding a warg on a leash, so we took his picture, okay?).
That is NOT a Nazgul! That is NOT a Nazgul! That is NOT a Nazgul! No idea what she was supposed to be, but if looks could kill, well, actually, she'd be a Nazgul....
Move along, move along! Are the ushers sizing up their prospects for the evening, or are they just happy they don't have to engage in crowd control any more? We didn't see Mr. Red Shirt at the end of the evening. Perhaps Scotty beamed him up in time?
