Hercules and Iolaus meet a woman warrior who is seeking help against the evil warlord, Petrakus. But as Iolaus falls deeply in love with Xena, Hercules learns she is not all that she appears to be, and Petrakus is a simple farmer who has refused to give in to a fierce warlord.
- The Gauntlet (First season, 1994-5)
After Xena shows compassion for a baby, sole survivor of a village destroyed by Darphus, her lieutenant, he leads a mutiny and takes control of the Warrior Princess' army. Salmoneus brings Xena and Hercules together to fight this new threat to Greece.
- Unchained Heart (First season, 1994-5)
Unaware that Ares has revived Darphus, Xena travels with Hercules and Iolaus as she struggles to find a new purpose for her life.
- Judgement Day (Third season, 1996-7)
Hearing that Hercules has gotten married, Xena and Gabrielle rush to find out what has happened, and upon arriving learn that Serena, his wife, has been murdered and Hercules is the lone suspect an outraged village is pursuing.
- Surprise (Fourth season, 1997-8)
Friends and family gather in Corinth to celebrate Hercules' birthday, but Hera and Callisto have other plans for the Big Guy.
- Stranger In A Strange World (Fourth season, 1997-8)
While fighting Ares, Hercules and Iolaus become separated through a vortex created by the dying Zeus. Iolaus enters another, parallel world where Hercules' counterpart is evil and Xena's counterpart is his conniving girlfriend.
- Armageddon Now, Part I (Fifth season, 1998-9)
Dahak strikes a bargain with Callisto. If she will go back in time to prevent the birth of Hercules and hence the salvation of Xena, she'll be given the oblivion she seeks. It falls to Iolaus to prevent the warrior goddess from succeeding.
- Armageddon Now, Part II (Fifth season, 1998-9)
Iolaus meets Xena as she would have become had the world not known Hercules. He gets one more chance to set matters right, but must choose between saving Callisto and letting her die as an innocent child.
